There are a few newer bands that go by the name Slow Children. I know of one Ska band, and one Punk band. This site has nothing to do with them. It has to do only with the original Slow Children from the early 80's.

Slow Children are basically two people; Pal Shazar and Andrew Chinich. Their two producers, Jules Shear and Stephen Hague, filled in the rest of the music, along with one of two drummers. All songs were written by both Shazar and Chinich. One of the drummers, Dave Scheff, was in the band Translator.

They only released two albums under this name, neither of which have been officially re-released on CD. Oglio Records? Rhino Records? Razor & Tie? Wounded Bird? Cherry Red? Where are you when we need you?

I think this is what Pal Shazar sent me herself, in appreciation for me doing this website, but having packed it away during a move, and not sure what box it's in, I am unsure if it is the same item as "RCA 1982 Slow Children Radio Special- Volume 16" - Catalogue # DJL1-4244. If anyone knows of anything else out there, promotional or otherwise, please let me know.
